Arrival & Departure
Check-in is guaranteed from 3pm. However, you are welcome to arrive earlier and use the hotel facilities. Check-out is at 11am. Likewise, you may stay throughout the day and enjoy the hotel facilities. You are welcome to enjoy the spa facilities from check-in on the day of your arrival and up to check-out on the day of your departure.
Bedrooms not vacated by 11am on the day of departure may be subject to additional charges.
Guest must present a valid form of ID upon check-in.
Deposit & Cancellation
Flexible Cancellation (48 Hours)
Credit card details are requested at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Cancellation is free up until 3pm, 48 hours prior to arrival. The full rate for the first night is fully chargeable in the event of late cancellation or no-show.
Overnight Spa Packages (7 Days)
Credit card details are requested at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Cancellation or postponement is free up until 3pm, 7 days prior to arrival. The full rate for the first night is fully chargeable in the event of late cancellation or no-show.
Non-refundable (0 days)
Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellation is fully chargeable.
Overnight Festive Packages
A 20% deposit for all Christmas residential packages is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation with full pre-payment is required 3 weeks prior to arrival.
All Christmas package bookings made within 3 weeks of arrival must pay in full at the time of the reservation.
Cancellations received up until 3pm, 3 days prior to arrival, will receive a voucher to the total value of monies paid valid for 3 months.
Cancellations received with 72 hours of arrival will receive a voucher to 80% of the total value of monies paid valid for 3 months. Cancellation must be received in writing.
Spa Illuminata Danesfield House
Spa Treatments and Spa Days are subject to availability and must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
All Spa Treatments and Spa Days require full pre-payment at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Spa Day Cancellations
Cancellations for Spa Days are fully chargeable
Spa Treatment Cancellations
Cancellation or postponements for Spa Treatments are chargeable at 10% of the total booking value up until 48-hours prior to arrival
Cancellation or postponements received within 48-hours of arrival are fully chargeable.
With the exception of:
Overnight Spa Packages with treatments included are subejct to the package terms & conditions. Treatments will be reserved provisionally at the time of booking for all those in your party. You will be contacted to secure your preferred treatment times by a member of the team prior to arrival.
We request that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment(s). Please note that the treatment time includes collection from reception to exiting the treatment room.
In the event of late arrival, your treatment(s) will still be carried out; however, your treatment time and structure may be reduced accordingly. If you are too late for the treatment to be carried out in full, rescheduling will be required and the full cost of the treatment charged to you.
Please be aware that if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, a heart condition or you are receiving medical treatment, treatments that involve the application of heat or certain products are not advised.
Children under the age of 5 years are not permitted in the spa building or swimming pool.
Children between the ages of 5 and 16 years may use the pool between 2pm - 5pm daily and between 8am - 9am on Saturdays & Sundays.
Dining at Danesfield House Hotel & Spa
The Orangery
Reservations for lunch and dinner do not require credit card details or deposits to be secured. We kindly ask for any cancellation to be received within 24 hours of arrival.
Afternoon Tea bookings require a non-refundable deposit of £20 per prson is required at the time of booking.
The Oak Room
Reservations require a deposit of £25.00 per guest at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please note that we ask for all dietary restrictions or allergies to be advised no later than 48 hours prior to your booking to ensure we can cater for them.
Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted in the Oak Room.
Vouchers
Vouchers require non-refundable, full pre-payment at the time of purchase. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are subject to availability. The voucher may be exchanged for services to the value of the voucher, any items of a higher price will require payment of the difference.
Voucher cannot be extended beyond the expiry date. Voucher must be present on arrival.
Dress Code
The dress code when dining in our restaurants is smart casual, a jacket or tie is not essential. However, we ask that guests refrain from wearing sportswear.
Children
Children of all ages are welcome in the hotel and The Orangery Restaurant. The Oak Room is available to those over 16 years.
Please note that children under the age of 5 years are not permitted in the spa building or pool. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 years may use the swimming pool between 2pm – 5pm each day and between 8am – 9am on Saturdays & Sundays.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the hotel public areas, the grounds and selected bedrooms. They are not permitted in the Orangery Restaurant, Oak Room or Spa Illuminata Danesfield House.
For dogs staying overnight, a supplement of £25.00 per dog, per night is applicable.
Dog owners take full responsibility for the behaviour of their four legged friend and must ensure they are kept on a lead at all times.
Disabled Access
The hotel offers one specially designed accessible room to accommodate guests with restricted mobility. Please advise us upon booking of any and all disabilities so that we can assist with your requirements wherever possible.
Valuables
The hotel is not able to accept responsibility for your valuables unless left with the Duty Manager who will issue you with a receipt for your items whilst they are held in the hotel safe. We advise you not to leave valuables in your car. Please note that we are not held responsible for loss or damage of valuables or the car.
Smoking
We are non-smoking hotel. Should you smoke in your room, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee upon or after check-out, which will be an additional nights room rate and further charges relating to deep cleaning of the room.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Our staff have the right to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. We operate a zero tolerance policy towards any behaviour that is agressive, violent, abusive, threatening, sexually harassing or discriminatory towards any member of our team.
We also operate a zero tolerance policy towards the possession, use or distribution of illegal drugs on our premises.
Any guest, visitor, contractor or individual engaging in any such behaviour will be required to leave the premises immediately.
Incidents may be reported to management, and where appropriate, to the police. Individuals may also be permanently refused entry to the Hotel.
Events
We host a variety of ticketed events throughout the year. These events require full pre-payment at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All contracted events held at the Hotel are subject to separate terms & conditions. These will be provided and agreed at the time of confirmation with your event co-ordinator.
