Family
Danesfield House is superbly located to allow you to visit some of the countries most popular attractions. Whilst the Danesfield Spa is "out of bounds" for many children as we do not allow under 8's to use the facililties this need not hamper their thirst for adventure and fun.
Here are just a couple of suggestions to entertain your kids and yourselves:
Stay Three Nights
Our Family Rooms make an ideal base for your adventures. Each Family Room has a double bed and a double sofa bed sleeping two adults and two children comfortably.
Day One - Legoland WINDSOR
Day Two - Head into London for The London Eye or Madame Tussauds and perhaps save a little energy to visit Hamley's in Regent Street before heading back.
Day Three - Thorpe Park
These attractions are owned by the same company and you may find a Family Ticket is the most convenient way to enjoy the combined experience. Detials of a family annual pass can be found on their website.
Stay one night
After a leisurely arrival - check in from 2pm - book in for the evening performance of the latest children's production at Wycombe Swan Theatre - they have varied and constantly changing calendar of popular shows. In the morning its off to Henley to the River and Rowing Museum where the Wind in the Willows story is captured in a unique way ideal for children to explore. After exploring the museum your apetite will be whetted and what better way to spend the afternoon than with a Danesfield Picnic aboard a boat on the River Thames. Hobbs of Henley have been hiring boats and arranging boat trips since 1870 - so they will be able to advise you on exactly the right craft or trip for you.
