Golf at Danesfield House
We have excellent golf within minutes of the hotel provided by Harleyford Golf Club.
This 18 hole all weather course is situated in 160 acres of outstanding natural beauty. The 6,700 yard, par 72 course was designed by Donald Steel.
The Harleyford Academy provides a fully qualified team of PGA professionals for expert lessons and tuition using the excellent practice facilities, including a driving range and chipping green. So this is not just a club for experienced golfers as partners or friends new to the game can also spend a very enjoyable time learning a new skill with expert tuition. To enjoy a round however a handicap certificate is required.
Sandy Lambert - Head Coaching Professional
Sandy was an international lady golfer from 1979 to 1996 when she turned professional to start a coaching career. Apart from coaching the first team at Radley College and many individual golfers Sandy coaches many of Harleyford's scratch and team members. Jodie Kidd and Anton Du Beke number among her better known pupils. Through Sandy's guidance and dedication to the juniors she is hoping to have the best girl academy in the country.

Partner's Package
While your partner tackles 18 holes, arrange yourself a private golf lesson and then head back to Danesfield Spa for a luxury treatment in the spa to soothe your muscles.
Twilight Tee Times
Special rates are now also available for later tee times allowing you to combine golf even when arriving later in the day. Harleyford opens at 7:00 am and remains open until dusk so 9 holes after returning from the office is the perfect way to unwind.
Corporate Golf Days
Harleyford welcomes enquiries from corporate groups for Golf Days on 01628 816163 and arrangements for Private Dining and accommodation should be directed to the Private Rooms Managers at Danesfield House on 01628 891010. Ideal numbers would be up to 12 however larger groups can be accommodated.
